The Josh Abbott Band has been making headlines with their most recent album, Front Row Seat, and their connection to Lubbock, Texas. The band was recently featured in a news segment on Everything Lubbock detailing the long tradition of beloved artists from Lubbock and their impact on the music industry today. Among the other artists mentioned in the segment were Buddy Holly, Waylon Jennings, and Natalie Maines.

Abbott began his musical career playing at the Blue Light in Lubbock while studying communications at Texas Tech University. Founded in Lubbock in 2006, the band has become synonymous with Texas country and red-dirt music — and with climbing the charts. “Live It While You've Got It,” the most recent single from their album Front Row Seat, hit No. 1 on the Texas radio charts.

Tough and timeless, this polo is built for the long ride. Featuring a crisp, non-collapsing collar and a rugged, stretchy fabric, it's the perfect shirt for any cowboy's wardrobe.

Expect this band to grow even more. They’re working on a new album set to be released later this year. In the meantime, watch their late-night-TV performances “Amnesia” on Conan and “Wasn’t That Drunk” on Kimmel.
